place-holder is there in ACT. Will need to find a best-practise example from existing collections and then assign the task of writing the descriptions to the collection leads and/or web archivists.
The task is in hand with myself and Helena. Best practise example text "The 1916 Easter Rising was a pivotal moment in modern Irish history. It transformed the political landscape, paving the way for Irish independence, while also leaving a contentious legacy. The Rising, or more particularly the centenary of the events in Dublin in 1916, is being explored and represented in new ways thanks to technology and the work of colleagues at Trinity College Dublin and the Bodleian Library Oxford. During 2016 they built and curated a collection of websites related to the commemoration." For full list of collection descriptions see https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CkaQ0tsi6GsMAzsO-YYXo9LX6bitwYvnMeSLJa3yUnY/edit#gid=1320828429 The collection descriptions are updated via ACT (not directly in the website code).
Why created, by whom, when collected, closed or still being added to? Any agenda or motive, for a specific project?
Sub collections will have general "this is a sub-collection of ... "
Template needed to guide general wording.
