Single note commands #82

Closed skiasaurus closed 10 years ago

Right now a mix of British and American terms for note values are supported--e.g. \halfNote but not \minim, \crotchet but not \quarterNote. All the commands should support either a) one of the two languages, or (better yet) b) both.

If this is already the case, then table 3.1 in the documentation should be updated to reflect that.

No, this isn't the case yet. It has been noted by Dave Bellows (who has created LuaLaTeX compatibility for lilyglyphs) but not systematically documented or even implemented.

I'm not aware of these differences. Of course I could look them up but you could help me greatly by providing a proper list with BE and AE terms. (It wouldn't hurt to also have terms for commands not yet present in lilyglyphs)

Boah, that was tedious :-(

It's time to provide a generic command now!

Thanks, Daniel.

No problem.
