Prolonged "Estimating" Process After YOLOv8 Model Training

Question

Dear Ultralytics Support Team,

I have been training a YOLOv8 model on Ultralytics Hub and after the training process completed 100 epochs, it transitioned to the "estimating" phase. However, this phase is taking much longer than expected, and I have not received any results so far.

Here are some details about the model training:

Model: YOLOv8 Number of Epochs: 100 Dataset Size: 623 images Hardware: Google Colab T4 GPU Connection Status: Good How long does this process usually take? Is it normal for this phase to take so long, or should I be concerned about a potential issue? I have not observed any obvious problems in the logs or error messages, but I need more information and assistance on this matter.

I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

@gorkemsokezoglu Hello! What do you mean by "estimating" phase? Are your referring to the "Optimizing weights" phase? Did the training finish in Google Colab? Can you share the model ID with me (you can find it in the model's page URL)?
