Question

trying the pytorch code examples: https://github.com/ultralytics/yolov5/issues/36 but seems hard to find a way to complete silence the inference. Everytime the rocket is shown. Would love to see some option-examples (on wiki/readme.md) to silence this.

as i am a n00b i would be glad about some easy hints to silence this image

Requirements

Python>=3.6.0 with all requirements.txt installed including PyTorch>=1.7. To get started:

$ git clone https://github.com/ultralytics/yolov5
$ cd yolov5
$ pip install -r requirements.txt

Environments

YOLOv5 may be run in any of the following up-to-date verified environments (with all dependencies including CUDA/CUDNN, Python and PyTorch preinstalled):

Status

CI CPU testing

If this badge is green, all YOLOv5 GitHub Actions Continuous Integration (CI) tests are currently passing. CI tests verify correct operation of YOLOv5 training (train.py), validation (val.py), inference (detect.py) and export (export.py) on MacOS, Windows, and Ubuntu every 24 hours and on every commit.

i found hints on stackoverflow, but still the cache-message appears. any hints to silence this too?

glenn-jocher commented 2 years ago

@ozett the 'Using cache found in' message is part of torch and not under our control. You might raise an issue on pytorch/pytorch

thanks for fast answer. great!

there is no python-way to silence submodles/touch-call? 😢

ozett commented 2 years ago

maybe declare the "hub.load" as a custom-model? to silence the cache-notification?

ozett commented 2 years ago

i needed that all for my python-script in node-red. dirty-solution now running: i jump over this torch-message now with a split node. image

thanks for helping on the first steps and silencing the yolo-messages.
