Internet option not working on Ubuntu 20.04 #65

Hello,

I get the following error: "No compatible leaderboard-plugin found!", and it won't let me login to link my Ultrastar-en account.

It's a known and unpredictable error, can't be fixed if occurs in your machine. We will change the login system on the next version.

Ok but on not workparty it works, and it worked before ob world party

The LAST version don't work in YOUR computer. Previous version didn't work for other people or works on your computer. This error is relative to the data encryption send to the server that include the username and a the identifier of each version, for this can work or not depending the username and the version of the game.

Are you referring to Ultrastar Deluxe or Ultrastar Worldparty? Because those are two different distributions.

This is the repo of worlparty, we only write about worlparty. The deluxe version is based on our "stolen" worlparty version pre 2018 and for this we decide remove the "deluxe" on name and stop support them.

I did not know that. I want to use the Worldparty distribution more often because of its online community and the terrific contribution of its content creators. However, I keep struggling with the reception of the high tones, which sometimes seems a bit too sensitive to noise or slight changes in tone, especially tones that are still within the tolerance range (at least when I compare the reception of Worldparty with Deluxe). This happens to me on both operating systems, Windows and Ubuntu. As a result, I scored 200-400 less points, depending on the amount of high-pitched tones in the song.

Is this something that can or needs to be improved or is it maybe only my particular problem or perception? Should I open an Issue regarding this topic?
