Option to remove 'For you' content from search results #26

In the search results, YouTube adds clickbait videos under the heading 'For you'. This is content I'd like to be able to hide. It is a div containing this code: <span id="title" class="style-scope ytd-shelf-renderer">For you</span>

Thanks for flagging this -- could you let me know if this is on iPhone, iPad, or Mac, and provide a screenshot to make sure I understand correctly?

Thanks for looking at this issue. This is on Mac. The 'For you' sections can be found on the Home section of a channel - there's example with a screenshot here: https://www.theverge.com/2023/11/8/23952539/youtube-for-you-channel-personalized-mix

Got it, I'll try to include this in the next update

Sorry, I forgot to mention before, 'For You' also appears in YouTube search results e.g.: youtube-for-you

Hmm was trying to locate this just now and couldn't find any 'For you' section in my own youtube --- can you confirm if it's still there for you? I can only see a 'channels new to you' in my search results?

Hi, yes it looks like they recently renamed 'For you' to 'Channels new to you'. The feature is exactly the same though.
