Android's backup service not used #471

What steps will reproduce the problem?
OI applications do not use Android's backup service:
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/data/backup.html

The implementation can be tested using bmgr:
http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/tools/bmgr.html

All OI applications would greatly benefit from using this service.
