full height side panel #2026

I've read several posts about the side panel that can be directly opened to full height without having to click on the button at the top of the panel. Could you tell me where I can configure the default size of the side panel? Thanks.

Can you be more precise on which action you do to open a panel ?

There is no "default panel side" setting. The default size is full height, unless for the caption, which is small. And when the user has opened a panel, uMap will keep the size, unless the user changes it.

Makes sense ?

If I open the following map https://umap.osm.ch/fr/map/bornes-historiques-de-neuchatel_3405 the side panel is not full height. Same for this map https://umap.osm.ch/fr/map/bornes-france-suisse_8029

I have to manually click on the top to obtain full height.

Ok thanks, this time I've understood and I won't be displaying the caption by default, which is a bit of a shame. Why did you choose to display the caption small? I have a lot of layers and it would be useful to display them in a more complete way without having to use the panel enlargement button every time.
