Weird result trying to create clothes #298

Hi, I am trying to create clothes for UMA 2. I'm getting this kind of weird result modeling a shirt

Have you ever crossed this kind of issue ? I'm quite sure I followed your tutorial on clothes without missing steps, although it was in a previous version of UMA and blender.

I create the mesh separating the torso from the body. then I make some modifications (adding a shell, expanding it...). Next, I export the file to .fbx file setting forward to Z axis and exporting selected objects (skeleton + mesh shirt) and removing animation related options.

I am using blender 2.81a, but I also tried with an older version (2.79) and I still get this weird result. My import options in unity are the same as in the examples I downloaded for testing purpose. Any clue on what might be wrong ?

Please use the 2.8 blender specific meshes in the content pack, and export using the Blender 2.8 specific settings: Blender 281 fbx export

Hello, I have another question. I am trying to create a human avatar with a leg amputation. Should I create an new race with another base skeleton using generic instead of humanoid or is it possible to do it by just modifying the base recipe of the default race ? Best to move questions to the forum, discord or slack (see the docs in the UMA folder for the links). To do this, I recommend looking at the dismemberment code that Kenamis wrote for UMA.
