We wish we could work with everyone directly and assess your issue immediately but we're in the fortunate position of having lots of contributions to work with and only a few humans who are able to do it. Bug summary
The trees in Content/Media sections do not remember the last selected node when returning to the tree in the sections.
It works fine in version 13 and previous versions.

Steps to reproduce
Create a simple content tree of nodes. Just a root node with a single child is enough. Select a node below root level Switch to the Media section and then back to Content section. The tree is now collapsed and only shows the root nodes.

Expected that the previous selected content node would be active/selected and the tree expanded.
