Add cleanup feature #225

When deleting schema like document types and data types, the uda files get deleted also. But when those deletions are deployed, for security reasons, the schema in the database is not deleted.

It would be nice if there was a kind of clean up feature, so you could go to a dashboard or similar in your other environments, and get an overview over schema not backed by a uda file. And from there if you could delete everything in one go, including content nodes based on that schema.

Of course it would need to warn the user about the potential damage :)

Funny, we were discussing this very thing only this week. We'll be looking at this in the upcoming period of time to make it easier for developers to clean up via the dashboard in the settings section..

I think this is very related to our issue: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco.Deploy.Issues/issues/239

@AndyButland any updates on that feature?

AndyButland commented 3 weeks ago

Only that we've been working on it @NerijusD - it's currently in an early implementation pending review and improvement, but we hope to include it in the next Deploy minor releases for 13+.
