We really appreciate your patience while we wait for our team to have a look at this but we wanted to let you know that we see this and share with you the plan for what comes next.
We wish we could work with everyone directly and assess your issue immediately but we're in the fortunate position of having lots of contributions to work with and only a few humans who are able to do it. We are making progress though and in the meantime, we will keep you in the loop and let you know when we have any questions.

Heya @kanalhui thanks for letting us know - I thought we'd dealt with all localizing all the displayed date values, guess I thought wrong. Will look into it.

Hi @kanalhui this one is in the current sprint for investigation, and most likely a fix and patch release.
Which Umbraco version are you using? (Please write the exact version, example: 10.1.0)

Bug summary
Im in HK and I created a request to publish the content at 12:16AM, and when I access into the workflow details, it show the request time at 4:16pm

Steps to reproduce
The CMS installed the Umbraco workflow, and enabled & apply the workflow setting for the content. Go to the content and request publish (My case is HK time: 12:16AM) Go back to the workflow details, then can see the saved request time is UTC time zone (4:16PM) Go the "Workflow" section and open history, the record also showing 4:16PM
Expected result / actual result
The request time should follow the local timezone
