Performance issue #41

Problem

This might just be a side effect of using github's built in hosting but our performance is really bad. Here is the link to our Google Page Speed Insights. As you can see it's really bad on desktop.

Solution

I don't think this is high priority but definitely something to keep in mind as we add more to the site

We can possibly switch to a CDN for fontawesome and bootstrap, and either Facebook or GitHub's api for Alex's pic
