In order to be the designated naysayer, this would involve adding another timeout (every minute) to a page that already has a few of those. Not too hard, but probably not worth the trouble.
Just stating the more general objection: is an absolute measure of time much use on a board that shows departures in relative format? Is "what time is it?" a question that we think we're most equipped to answer for people?
As opposed to the timekeeping devices that almost literally everyone carries around in their pocket or purse? I don't really think we are, particularly given the various clock infidelities we've noticed on our installations.
A clock can be useful when there's none in the room and a departure is far enough away that a passenger decides to leave and come back (and they don't have a watch/phone). A bit of an edge case, but was worth discussing again since this feature was requested.
Anyway, since for the most part it's not needed, and since everyone (who's contributed to this project) seems to hate the idea, closing.
:hankey:
Another possible feature we've talked about.
