#10 Which open source license(s) will the source code be released under? #10

UNVT currently uses Unlicense as a default license.

One challenge would be that Unlicense or any other CC0-ish license is not an OSI approved license.

We may move forward with Unlicense or change the default license to MIT license or similar license which requires attribution. In the latter case, we need to consider how we describe ourselves as a copyright holder.

My proposal on the name of the copyright holder:

  1. the United Nations Vector Tile Contributors
  2. the United Nations Vector Tile Network
  3. the United Nations Vector Tile Community

I would recommend 1.
