New pagedown templates

Actually I have been thinking about the same thing as https://github.com/chirunconf/chirunconf19/issues/4. There are several possible output formats we could develop, e.g.

If anyone is interested but doesn't know enough about HTML/JS/CSS, I'll be happy to give quick tutorials.

Yihui, would you be willing to give a tutorial on HTML/JS/CSS as part of our day zero activities? @ijlyttle @haleyjeppson and @ameliaMN are planning the day.

I haven't decided whether I'll attend day zero yet. If I do, I'll certainly be happy to give a tutorial!

Okay. I have tentatively decided to drive to Des Moines on day zero in the morning (and leave the two little monkeys with someone at home 😁). Now I need to know how many people would actually be interested in such a tutorial.

That's great! I took a peek at the intake survey, and about 75% of people say they're attending the day zero workshop. For the whole group, that's about 28-30 people. Plus me :smiley:

Perhaps there can be two different "tracks" in the afternoon? I'm not sure how that would work with our space, but it's something to consider.

This tutorial won't be too long. I feel one hour should be enough. I'm definitely not going to spend a whole afternoon on this :)

I'm starting to look at making name badges for the unconf, and I am really wishing I had a template I could use for it! 😃

You mean you want a template in pagedown tomorrow morning?? Give me a sample data frame (name, institute, etc.), and describe what the badge should look like (you can draw one by hand or show me a picture of a badge from another [un]conference). I'll see what I can do.
