SonaliBendre commented 2 years ago

I had searched for "feedback" then mistakenly clicked parent scrip folder which was a script to disable many apps

Deny app access to account info, name, and picture It caused many problems for my Micro$oft account

Disable Windows DRM internet access Maybe Your apps are using DRM?

Deny app access to the microphone Deny app access to radios Deny app access to Bluetooth devices Deny app access to Document folder Deny app access to Pictures folder Deny app access to Videos folder Deny app access to other filesystems Deny app access to camera Deny app sync with devices (unpaired, beacons, TVs, etc.) Deny app access to trusted devices These can perform a lot of issues on apps

Deny app access to Notifications Notifications btw.

@bardiarajabi thank you awesome

femdiya commented 2 years ago

@SonaliBendre No problem <3

undergroundwires commented 2 years ago

@bardiarajabi I see that some of these are not recommended at all, but most of them are "standard" to all users. Maybe this is too much then? Would you recommend to move them to "strict"?

femdiya commented 2 years ago

@undergroundwires fr2kjp8fa4h21 I use strict settings on my gaming-only machine. I would not recommend these settings to anyone. P.S.: I use disable windows update to fix my dad's pc. IDK if it's that strict or not.

Status (with new script names that has been changed over time):

These are already not recommended on any level, no action needed:

This will be changed from "standard" to not being recommended at all:

Won't change those until there's a documented/reproducible side-effect, please do not bump this and create a new issue if you encounter one:
