I think with the current feature, only the user can submit their own reviews. Hence, they are unable to see how other people review the book within the same application

Hello, thanks for noticing this. Appreciate your effort and time spent in trying our product, as well as the suggestions that you gave. Our team understood that you may have certain doubts about the documentation. However, after careful consideration, our team has decided to reject this issue.

  1. The target user is specified to be the librarians, and what this point of collecting review originally try to say is that the librarian needs to collect the review and rating from readers in a library by doing an anonymous survey, and after completing the survey and collecting the reviews, the librarain can record them into the application.

  2. This is for design consideration. Since readers are not target users of this application, the review feature provides more of a recording functionality for the librarian instead of a forum discussion functionality.

  3. Note that the users are librarians instead of readers. In this case, librarian does not submit their own review, and instead they submit the reviews that they collected from the users.

  4. The purpose of the review feature is for librarain to estimate the popularity of a certain book and make decisions about which books to purchase more in the future. This means the review feature is less concerned about what a particular user says, and it is more concerned about what the average rating and opinion of the book among the readers are. Additionally, many surveys in library are conducted annoymously. Therefore, no personal information will be recorded in the review.

  5. Points 1 to 4 are included in the User Guide.
