[feature request] Check for update function should give feedback #330

Description

When you click the button 'Check for update', you don't get any feedback. It would be nice to see some form of feedback indicating that the remote indeed checked for a new update but didn't find one. Maybe a popup saying "You're already on the latest firmware!" Or a timestamp below the button indicating the last time you checked.

It should show download progress bar too I think.
