8 years ago @jag3773 if you can provide the font file and the language code we should be able to fix this.
This issue relates to Help Desk ticket 1611: Looks like older versions of Android do not support Hausa fonts within the unfoldingWord app. User tested, and I confirmed that text does not display correctly; we think on versions before 5.0. User tested versions 4.1.2 and 4.2..2, and I tested one of my tablets running 4.4.5. Many devices that are used overseas are not the newest version of Android. More Test Results: tested tS and the unfoldingWord app on an Android device running 4.4.4. The Hausa fonts worked within tS but do not work within the unfoldingWord app. On newer versions on Android the Hausa fonts work in both apps. Attached are pictures of how the fonts display in tS and unfoldingWord app: Request is for the unfolding Word Android app to embed fonts into the application. This will allow the fonts to be displayed correctly on older versions of Android.
