Need indicator of processing after reselecting a tool #6471

2.0.0 (13f0735) This process was performed on my slow Windows machine.

  1. Select a Matthew project
  2. Load the project in tW
  3. Return to the Tools page
  4. Click the Launch button on the tW tool card
  5. The Loading tool data alert is not displayed and it takes 13 seconds until the tool is opened. There is no indication of processing during that time.

It shouldn't take more than one second to make that screen switch it makes me think something is wrong somewhere. Maybe we should also include researching what causes it to take so long to change the screen as part of the story?

In 2.2.0 (2375ae5) I am not seeing the Loading tool data alert even on the initial import. I think it may be related to the apparent processing being done behind the scenes (maybe updating the tool percentages and broken links?). I will write up a new issue to deal with that background processing that is causing multiple problems in these large projects.

In 2.2.0 (d2e40ce) on my Windows machine, after reselecting the tW tool on a Matthew project it takes 7+ seconds before there is any indication of anything happening. The Loading tool data alert is not displayed.
