Description

The icon of the pip player window doesn't match the main browser's icon

How to Reproduce?

The icon of the pip player window doesn't match the main browser's icon 1.Install Ungoogled-chromium from flathub 2.Play any video & put it into PiP 3.Realize the icons doesn't match each other image image

Actual behaviour

Icons should match each other

I don't have this issue on GNOME/Wayland, but I think I know how to fix this anyway.

When https://github.com/flathub/io.github.ungoogled_software.ungoogled_chromium/pull/35 is merged, this should be fixed.

This will be fixed when https://github.com/ungoogled-software/ungoogled-chromium/pull/2924 is merged, which shouldn't take too long (max a day or so).

Can you confirm that the issue is fixed with the latest update?

Nope. It displays a generic wayland icon instead of the old blue chromium logo image

Closing, it's a Chromium bug when --ozone-platform=wayland is set.
