RSS is lesser susceptible to tracking and user manipulation.

RSS is not on the agenda of organizations who don't respect privacy.

Those are the reasons, but my question was which of ungoogled-chromium goals does this new feature correspond to?

I think I have no answer to this question. I can relate to objective #3

ungoogled-chromium features tweaks to enhance privacy, control, and transparency.
