I did, but that thread just says "not working", and is not directly asking for support being added, however said thread was resolved by:

"We are not planning to support platforms dropped by upstream."

Hence, maybe should use Supermium, since:

"Future support for ... Ungoogled Chromium features (in progress)"

This is not happening, not with or because some other project (that) has support.

Also, performance is not a reason to run highly vulnerable software. There are alternatives, especially for anyone with enough technical skills to evaluate their need of running ungoogled-chromium.

I, and by extend this project, will not ship software that compromises user security and including support for platforms that are itself or make the software vulnerable is part of that.

"highly vulnerable software"? All versions of Windows intentionally support Eternal-blue, why else you think its goverment-given name contains "Eternal".

Even if we use a patch to disable some security issue(s), the main issue is that the goverment forces them to hide some nice leak in the package.

Long story short, since Windows 7 is longer around, most of its intentional back-doors are known and got an (un)official patch somewhere.

Support is not happening, making this a discussion has no value.
