Description

Browser settings (in Chinese) are often not saved, but they can be switched to English.

How to Reproduce?

  1. Set to Chinese
  2. Adjust your browser settings
  3. Restart your browser
  4. No changes were found
  5. Set to English
  6. Adjust your browser settings
  7. Successful modification

I met the same problem, but for me, some details are different. take the appearance setting as an example: "page zoom" This setting takes effect immediately after adjustment. but like "Tab hover preview card","font size", "customize fonts", these will not take effect, even in english.

UPDATE: I have tried reproducing this issue in ungoogled-chromium with a new and empty profile using --user-data-dir command line argument and it could be reproduced there
