this is what i came up with:
i'm a bit in two minds about it, since it also implies that anybody who is not in the picture is not an unhosted web apps developer, which is exactly what we're trying to avoid.
otoh it's always nice to have faces on any website, and also it shows that there are >=8 people who care about this
maybe i'll just add a phrase to that effect, like "Anybody can develop unhosted web apps, but to give you some idea of which faces match to some of the github handles, here is a photo taken at Unhošť12."
Man, I love this picture! :)
ok, deployed. the alignment of the roman 'i.' - 'vi.' numbers in the nav is still not the way i want it, but that's a small detail
me too :)

yeah, i'm always struggling with how to present "the peer group" so that it's nice, but also unorganized and open. changing the website into an info site + blog + lots of links to the unconference was mainly an attempt to achieve that - that nobody can point and say "they/them there/those other people/not me" are doing this project thing, but at the same time it is important for the "movement" to have a people-dimension.
so i think we now finally achieved that, at least i think i'm happy with the site now. thanks everybody for your persisting input!! :)
everybody who writes unhosted web apps should be featured on unhosted.org with photo+name and the app they wrote. that way it's more personal and people can see who 'the movement' are.
