+1 however is there any reason we shouldn't just delete the old apps rather than comment them out?

I would rather move them to page for discontinued apps, so developers can still find them and look at the use cases and code.

Since the rs.js API didn't change much over the years, most of the apps using it should still work with current servers.

I also think it's definitely a great idea to mark things as experiments or demos, as opposed to normal apps! So maybe we can move more of them to the "samples" category, too?

I commented out the apps that aren't online. I didn't see any source code links for them.
