Endless 'Save' occurs when you try to create a user with a used username

Steps to reproduce

• Create a new unique user
• Create a another user with exactly the same user name as the previous user
• Try to save the record

Expected Behaviour The record will not be saved and a message will indicate to the user that the username must be unique

Current Behaviour The save button indicates 'Saving' endlessly and no error message is shown
