@antonisa, thanks again for your data submission! For now, I’ve tagged it as el-Latn-u-sd-it75 which means “Greek in the Latin writing system as used in Apulia”. Is your data actually using the Apulian variant of Griko, or is it rather Calabrian? Are Calabrian and Apulian Griko actually different, or could we just tag your data as el-Latn-IT?

Hi @brawer! Sorry it took a while to come back to you, I was traveling with minimal internet access. To answer your question: According to our metadata, we are 99% sure that the data were collected in Apulia, so it would be this variety. As for your second question, I'm not sure on what the linguists' consensus is, or if there is one. But, both Glottolog and the UNESCO Book of Endangered Languages list them as one language, so I believe it's safe to lump them together as el-Latn-IT.
