iPhonebrowser crashes when I plug in my iPhone, but is otherwise completely stable (Same as defect 94) #114

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start iphonebrowser
2. Plug in my iPhone

Alternatively
1. Plug in my iPhone
2. Start the iphonebrowser

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to view the files on my iPhone, however the program
crashes bringing up the Windows error report window.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using v1.9.0.0 on Windows XP Service Pack 2. My iPhone has been
jailbroken with the latest version of Quickpwn (running software version
2.2.1, and iTunes version 8.2.

Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried using 1.91 but it produces the exact same results as the prior
version. Rebooting the cpu, and then retrying the above steps still
produces the problem. As well as rebooted the computer and the iPhone, or
just rebooting the iPhone all produce the same results.
This defect (#94) was closed, but given the fact that this was a defect for
XP and not Vista i believe that either #94 should be re-opened or could we
please re-visit this issue with this defect.

I'm on XP, using SP3 as well with the latest .net framework update and also
have this
error. The program itself runs fine if the iphone is not plugged in, but when it
is in
tie bar for the program goes half way and then crashes.

Could it be the iphone driver itself?

I had this problem, solved it by uninstalling my version of iPhone Browser and
installing the Beta version from Sept 30.
