UFO Google Group / link on the home page #200

Hi —

I noticed there has been no activity on the Google Group since 2020, and before that the second most recent message was 2017. Yet there is still a link on the homepage saying it is the best place to discuss the UFO Spec.

I can see the value in having the group to spread the word about UFO meetings (like the most recent message in the group) and other organizational update things, but it seems like most of the discussion around the spec has been happening here.

So maybe the homepage should, in addition to inviting people to "contribute" on GitHub, also point people here as well to discuss.

I was inspired to bring this up because I was recently trying to introduce someone to the UFO organization, and they looked at that deserted message board and thought we haven't been very active!

I can make a pull request with updated language if this is something you agree with.

Yes, please do! Just say that the mailing list is there for non-github discussion and broadcast messages to interested parties. Likely better wording than that!

@benkiel took a crack at it in #201, we can still rework the language if you don't like it.
