Uniswap x L2s

Prize Bounty

$5000 in UNI

Challenge Description

Uniswap v3 is currently deployed on two L2 scaling solutions (Aribitrum and Optimism) with likely third deploy to Polygon (if governance proposal passes). Even though lot of end users complain about high gas prices on L1 we still didn't see huge adoption of L2s.

From user feedback we got two most common reasons why they don't use L2s is lack of information and user experience of bridging funds. We would like to see how you tackle this issue.

To improve adoption of L2s.:

  1. Update Uniswap Interface: Add a small note on https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap (when a user is connected to the mainnet) encouraging them to use the L2s to save on gas costs.
  2. Build a dedicated website showing all the bridging options (both slow & fast options) that users you can use to bridge from mainnet to L2 & back.
