The Image Listing component should allow you to define how many assets display, in the same way that events feed does. There could be the option for a show more button also. It might also be useful to be able to choose a parent page, rather than a folder.
Actual behaviour
Have to list all assets in a folder, meaning to show a select few, two folders need to be created - one containing link assets of the master folder.
