When one attempts to use tsd-s3cmd from non-UiO network it gives an error saying The API environment hosted at https://api.tsd.usit.no/v1 is not accessible from your current network connection.. Either this message or some section in documentation should explain that by connecting to UiO's VPN it's possible to use tsd-s3cmd on your local laptop. Despite using tsd-s3cmd for many years I didn't know about that until one of my colleagues mentioned this.
tsd-s3cmd --register
Choose the API environment by typing one of the following numbers:
1 - for normal production usage
2 - for use over fx03 network
3 - for testing
4 - for Educloud normal production usage
5 - for Educloud testing
