Can we analyse how many tryptic peptide LCA's now map to the strain rank. I would presume that many bacterial peptides would now snap to strain instead, where they used to map to species. Especially the (many?) peptides that only occur in a single protein. I guess this will be weird for many bacteriologists.
@pdawyndt I can try to analyse this. A new version of the database is currently being loaded on our test server, after which I will be able to perform the required queries in order to determine this.
This PR adds support for the new NCBI strain rank to the Unipept Desktop application. The version number of the app is also bumped to v1.2.0.
