Summary 🧾
The UF team has their own journal club, but there may be other topics/areas that folks would like to research and read about the discord. Basically we want a way to maintain an index/schedule of these groups to help advertise them!
A couple of tasks this could include:
Setting up a community calendar/directory of groups
Adding discord bots that can help manage schedules/advertising
Adding channels for the groups to discuss things async

I am not sure of a particular platform that curates the study groups, but they are ubiquitous in other discords and slacks.
Motivation 🔦
Often these study groups can die out or struggle to find members in their communities or networks that have the same interest, time zone or commitment to particular topics or texts to review.
The goal here would be to connect enough people interested in quantum computing/quantum open source to help these groups organize and if they want a platform, offer a space on the UF Discord.
