Your version of obs doesn't use qt6 which the plugin requires.
Thanks for the quick response, is it possible to install qt6 so the plugin works?, which package is needed?

I don't know, I don't use kubuntu. Did you install obs via the official instructions? https://obsproject.com/download#linux
I'll close this for now.
Describe the bug After installing the plugin (version 5.0.4) from the deb, zip on github and also form the repository obs crash on start. When the plugin is remove, obs start working again.
To Reproduce Install the plugin in one of three ways From deb Download the deb file from github release page ´sudo apt install ./input-overlay-5.0.4-linux-x86_64.deb´
From zip Download the zip file from github release page unzip it copy it ether to /usr/share/obs/obs-plugins/ or ~/.config/obs-studio/plugins/
From repository ´sudo apt install input- overly´
Open obs
Expected behavior Obs opens

OS: kubuntu 23.04 OBS: 29.0.2.1-1 (linux) Plugin version 5.0.4
