Currently, we have to click on 3 dots and then click on details to view the settings of the root key.

It would be nice to view settings after double-clicking on the shown key start.

I'm not sure if double clicking is the best experience here, we don't use double clicks anywhere else in the UI and it's not intuitive

Nothing is wrong with it. Someone that requested this on discord wanted it to be a double click. But I have changed it to single click in my most recent commit
