Hi everyone, I really appreciate the project and I thought about creating a custom icon for my installation on MacOS. The final result is that of the image you see below.

If you like, in the attachment you will find the icons in Mac format (.icns and .png) and in Windows / Linux format (.ico and .png).

For @unknownskl: feel free to use it in an upcoming version if you like it.

This would probably result in legal trouble, see https://www.xbox.com/en-US/legal/fansiteguidelines

@monreal thanks for the information. I will make a new version without the Xbox logo on it. Green color, cloud and the controller. Technically also the actual logo violated these guidelines.

Not a lawyer but I would expect using any kind of official artwork for this would potentially cause problems. I even wonder if the name will cause issues. Probably fine as long as it is just code on github but once the app is published somewhere I am not so sure.

The base model doesn't have any official artwork. We can use this or starting from here

Simpler, without special artwork, with highlighting the light beam with the shadow on the controller (style 1) and the lighting effect (style 2). Suggestions to report?

I actually use Style 2 on my Mac

I think it could also work without the controller inside.

I would be avoiding anything with any kind of xbox logo in it, including on the controller. I also would avoid using the official cloud icon shape as a base and official xbox controller artwork (that appears to be the cloud from the old onedrive logo?).

The new 2.0.0-beta1 release has a new icon and name, "Greenlight". If unknownskl is still looking for icons, it might be better to come up with something relating to that new namewithout any possible trademark infringement. Much better to err on the side of caution.

NOTE: It would probably be more suitable to move this to the "Discussions" section (up the top, fourth tab) and close this "Issue".

Thanks for the inspiration. I have made a new icon based on the above (probably a little bit looking outdated as i am not a designer :)) If you think you can provide a better icon then i am open for it. One requirement is that the PSD / Sourcefile should be included too in case we need to make small modifications or resizes.
