Incompatible Qt library in Kubuntu 24.10 #13

I have just installed Kubuntu 24.10, latest stl-thumb and stl-thumb-kde DEB packages. My Qt version is 6.6.2. No thumbs are generated for STL files and in the terminal I see this error:

kf.coreaddons: Could not load plugin from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt6/plugins/kf6/thumbcreator/stlthumbnail.so: The plugin '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt6/plugins/kf6/thumbcreator/stlthumbnail.so' uses incompatible Qt library. (6.7.0) [release]

I have rebuilt stlthumbnail.so from the source but still getting the same error.

Any suggestions to get around this?

installing version 0.4 of this app worked for me. possible Kubuntu 24. isn't full KDE6? No idea but it worked for me.

Thanks for the tip. With the 0.4 version the stl preview now works in dolphin. I guess the 0.5 has not been tested with current KDE 6 releases of Kubuntu. I had the same issue with the latest Manjaro too.
