Cannot render stl: Application error: failed to fill whole buffer #42

Running 0.4.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.

Many STL files do not generate thumbnails. When I try to generate a thumbnail on the command line, I get:

$ stl-thumb retainer_thick_112414.stl foo.png
ERROR - Application error: failed to fill whole buffer

Example STL file attached:

retainer_thick_112414.stl.zip

Can you try again with version 0.4.1? https://github.com/unlimitedbacon/stl-thumb/releases/tag/v0.4.1

No joy:

$ stl-thumb --version
stl-thumb 0.4.1
$ stl-thumb retainer_thick_112414.stl foo.png
ERROR - Application error: failed to fill whole buffer
