Some words have too many definitions, eating up valuable screen real estate. It may be worth keeping those for completeness, or allowing for content authors to select the contextually relevant definition. Technically the 'correct' definition should be highlighted or somehow identified regardless, but for demo purposes this functionality is simply 'nice to have'.
It might also be worth having both sets of functionality accessible via toggle as implemented with showing and hiding words in passages based on whether they are on the User's Vocab_List (or perhaps through a user preference in the account page).
Bare minimum, clean up the definition formatting and see if it can be standardized across CEDICT and EDICT.
