Theme changes are not applied automatically

Current behavior

In default template it seems theme changes are only applied upon restart, not on the fly (which is in contrast with blank Uno template)

Expected behavior

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)

Does this just affect WASM? Is there anything you see that is particularly different about what isn't working vs what should? (i.e. could this just be a bug with the Material Theme) cc: @kazo0
