Currently, provided both the electrics and battery are operational:
Headlight activation requires either that the engine be running or that the ignition key be at position 2 ("pre-ignition" / "ON") or 3 ("ignition" / "START").
The same holds for head fog lights alone (provided normal exterior lighting switch is set to position 1 / standstill or 2 / standstill + headlights).
Full fog light (tail or head + tail) activation requires that the engine be running or that the ignition key be at position 1 ("electrics (partially) operable" / "ACC") or greater (provided normal exterior lighting switch is set to position 1 or 2).
When integrating with other vehicles / variants in the future we will inevitably have to adapt some or all of the above, so in the spirit of #34 we should make them configurable. Due to the number of combinations and interdependencies, an adapter-macro approach may prove superior to .cti-vars in this case, due to the latters' lack of expressive capacity.
