Under both Big Sir and Monterey, Quick look crashes while/after accessing the MaxelQLPlugin. I am using 2.6.0 (8483). Based upon the crash log, the crash is while preparing a thumbnail. The context is nil and Quicklook crashes with an assertion failure.
The crash reliably occurs shortly after queuing a new file and it begins to download. One crash per download.

Thanks for reporting. It looks like apple has a new QL API, upgrading might fix this. I'll try to get this fixed in the next beta coming up in a few weeks
