Time skips back to the previous hour. #126

I have no idea if that is a problem on my end, but here is what happens: time

I'm happy to provide further details if you tell me what you need to know. I'm using it in conjunction with Simple Calendar and about time.

Uhhhhhhh weird? What game system is this? Does this happen at all hours of the day at the 2 second mark?

SalieriC commented 2 years ago

It's SWADE. And I'll take a look as to when exactly it jumps back. We're playing for three hours right now and so far I had to manually progress the time whenever a new hour started as it always skipped back. I can't say for sure after how many seconds though.

SalieriC commented 2 years ago

Okay, no errors in the console when it happens. And second try was the same again: time1 I will further investigate, maybe it doesn't happen in other worlds. But I saw you've established it's not about the system.

Is your Simple Calendar day set to 24hrs? Any other nonstandard settings in there?

SalieriC commented 2 years ago

Fairly standard settings I think. image

In a different world this doesn't happen though, so probably something up with this specific world. 🤔

SalieriC commented 2 years ago

Could it be something with the year zero setting of simple calendar? Related to the issue with backwards running seconds which you've fixed? I have year zero set u to be 1970 and the current year is 1935 in this world. I don't know if there may be a connection there but maybe...?

unsoluble commented 2 years ago

Hmmm maybe? If you have a chance to experiment with different values there, that might help narrow things down.

SalieriC commented 2 years ago

That appears to be it. Set the year zero to 1931 and now everything is fine.

unsoluble commented 1 year ago

Sorry for the insane delay in returning to this, but is this still an issue?

SalieriC commented 1 year ago

If year zero is later than the current year it is I think.
