El Lectro comes from a family lineage that didn't believe in her, and didn't give her the opportunities to become a gym leader simply because she's a woman. To reach the place she's at today she's had to fight extremely hard, and now she's a living role model for other women who want to be like her. She's also the gym leader of the capital of the region, and is renowned as one of if not the current strongest leader in Mazah, and yet many people still dislike her because she’s a woman holding the title of El Lectro.
Additions (Art Department)
El Lectro is female despite her name (The running concept is that she uses a masculine pronoun in her name to combat the misogynistic idealism around being a luchador)
She is buff lady, make her buff lady
Some concepts have used the idea of her being older but her age is not set in stone by any means. Age of retirement is around 40ish years old for luchadors, so she’ll need to be younger than that more than likely.
