This is an improvement suggestion from external users.

Google have an LTI integration with Moodle and other LMS https://edu.google.com/higher-ed-solutions/g-suite/course-kit We should apply for key/secret and get it integrated into UP2U Moodle instance

Who could move this forward?

@nadavkav, were you able to apply for the key/secret pair and prepare a demo of such solution?

@michzimny UP2U needs to (1) apply for Google for Education account (2) Apply to join the Course kit beta (link above) Only then, we can get a key/secret and be able to use it. Not sure who is the proper person to formally contact Google on behalf of the UP2U project. but after this bureaucracy stage is finished and we are approved and get a GFE account we can move to stage (2)

@michzimny I do not have a demo yet, on other systems I manage, but hope to be able to setup one very soon.

@nadavkav, thanks for the clarification. So, I shall ask the coordinators to sign up for https://edu.google.com/products/course-kit/contact/?modal_active=none ? Is it enough to complete step 1?

Or is anything else related to "Google for Education" needed? This name "Google for Education" seems to be very wide set of services and I cannot find simple enrolment form for this program.

You will need to (1) register a GFE account here: https://edu.google.com/contact/?modal_active=none And only then apply for (2) Course kit service here: https://edu.google.com/products/course-kit/contact/?modal_active=none
