Add a venue? #22

I didn't see a way to add a venue. How can I add an event at a venue that is not yet in the system?

Right now, you can't. I'm using Foursquare's database, which is pretty thorough, but doesn't include everything. In order to implement adding venues, I'll need to add some checks for duplicates in Foursquare's database and submit the new venue to them—as well as providing an option for private venues (e.g. your house) that won't get submitted back to them. High on the to-do list.

Glad to see "option for private venues (e.g. your house) that won't get submitted back to them" in here! Was trying to add some Craig Finn living room shows and couldn't, because they don't publicize the venue due to the nature of the event.

Oh, forgot to mention you can add venues directly to Foursquare if they're not already in there. They'll show up in Upcoming's add venue search in a few minutes.
