Dear friend
You have to find the appropriate cd to restore your firrmware. Have a look at the process:
https://www.lifewire.com/mac-firmware-restoration-2259978
It is a very simple process , but I can not help you because the iMac 13,2 I don't know if exists on the available versions 1.4-1.9.
Usually Linux installations (UBUNTU) destroy the EFI in most Mac's. If you don't solve the problem, try visiting Apple Authorised Service , they have the tools to restore it. Unfortunately for money.
Good Luck
Thankyou For answering me but there isnt about my hardware model ,, my mac is 2012

Hi @mansourrh, I have the exact same issue (same hardware, same problem). I verified that firmware is ok
/usr/libexec/firmwarecheckers/eficheck/eficheck --integrity-check
gives
EFI Version: IM131.88Z.F000.B00.2006101655 (Boot ROM Version: 292.0.0.0.0)
Primary allowlist version match found. No changes detected in primary hashes.
SEC Version: IM131.AAPLEFI4.88Z.0014.I00.1209241135
SEC allowlist version match found. No changes detected in SEC hashes.
Now, I was wondering whether the blessing worked? When booting with 'option' key held, my USB stick shows as "EFI Boot" rather than "AHT".
on the other hand, my iMac being a 13,2, why should EFI version be IM31*
?
Hi sorry i didnt see this email until now, Now what happen? Do you solve this problem?

Having the exact same hardware, same problem.
My only difference is the EFI seems to be newer than user @cmigliorini
/usr/libexec/firmwarecheckers/eficheck/eficheck --integrity-check
EFI Version: IM131.88Z.F000.B00.2012171805 (Boot ROM Version: 421.0.0.0.0)
Primary allowlist version match found. No changes detected in primary hashes.
SEC Version: IM131.AAPLEFI4.88Z.0014.I00.1209241135
SEC allowlist version match found. No changes detected in SEC hashes.
I appreciate any help to resolve this and finally be able to launch Diagnostics. Thanks
